In the lead-up, you’ll also receive my extensive Style & Session Guide, packed with tips on how to dress, prepare your little ones, and make the most of your time in the studio. It means you can walk in feeling relaxed and confident, knowing exactly what to expect.

On the day, my team and I bring years of experience working with children and families, guiding you through, keeping it light and fun, and knowing exactly how to capture those in between smiles and magical moments without wasting a second.

The Client Closet Experience

Think of this as your personal styling appointment, included right here in the studio.

When you book the Client Closet, you’ll have access to over 80 dresses in sizes 6 - 24, carefully chosen to flatter, photograph beautifully, and fit seamlessly into the warm, earthy tones of my sets.

Here’s what’s included:

A 30 minute styling appointment before your session, where you can browse, try on, and find the perfect look for yourself.
Help styling the rest of your family, so everyone complements each other without feeling too “matchy.”
Each dress is professionally maintained — freshly steamed, repaired, and ready so you don’t have to worry about creases or wear.
Gentle guidance on what works best on camera, so you can walk into your session knowing you’ll feel good and look good.

It’s more than just clothing - it’s one less stress in the lead-up, one more reason to feel relaxed on the day, and the finishing touch that makes your gallery shine

No need to decide now — you can add the Client Closet for $50 in your booking questionnaire after securing your spot.

Hi guys,

You probably know by now my name is Hanna, and Ravenwood Studios is my little business which I started back in 2020.

Throughout the year I am busy capturing families and newborns and a couple of times a year I hold some beautiful Mini Sessions.

These hold a special place in my heart as its where I usually get to catch up with past clients and see how their little ones have grown as they pop in for some updated family photos.

Chris is my hubby and he comes along and shoots with me for all of my Mini Sessions. He works in the film industry and used to be a Wedding Photographer - so no matter who is behind the lens when you sit down for your session, you are in good hands!

We have been busily planning these gorgeous Christmas Mini Sessions for a few months now and cannot wait to see who snaps the spots up!

FAQs

This years Christmas Minis will be held in my Studio in Gledswood Hills. It is a beautiful space, up a set of stairs. And if you were there for the 2023 Cottage Christmas Minis you’ll be happy to hear we have air conditioning!
Yes - You will be sent a proofing gallery (lightly edited) to choose your images from. Once you make your selections it will go in a queue for a finer edit by me. I want to make sure every image is perfect before sending them off for you to download
What if I want all the photos?
You can always upgrade your images after the session.

Yes - if you want him to be!
But these aren’t your traditional ‘Santa Photos’. My focus is still on capturing beautiful, timeless images which you can hang on your wall throughout the entire year. My idea for Santa is that he will pop in for a quick visit at the end for a couple of family photos / photos with the kids.
There is an additional cost to add Santa to your session - please select this on your questionnaire which will come through after booking
Full disclosure - Santa is my hubby.
I have photographed close to 500 mini sessions in the last 5 years and I can tell you 15 minutes is more than enough time!
I always work with my husband (also a photographer in case you haven’t met him before) for Mini Sessions and an extra helper on the day.
She will be there to greet you, help get mums dresses from the Client Closet, keep the kids entertained and excited, answer any questions, blow bubbles - whatever is needed to make these sessions easy and fun for you all!
For an extended family it is best to book an extra session (back to back). Email me if you’re unsure or want other options for extended families
The Client Closet is one of the most loved parts of my sessions, but it also takes a lot of work behind the scenes. Every dress is hand-picked, steamed, and maintained. Many require delicate repairs, regular washing, and constant replacements so the collection always feels fresh and beautiful.
On top of that, each client who chooses the Closet gets a personal try-on appointment with me. We spend time together choosing the perfect dress, I help style your family’s outfits around it, and I make sure everything is prepped and ready for your shoot.
Because of the cost of upkeep and the time that goes into each appointment, I’ve made it an optional $50 add-on for Mini Sessions. That way, the base session price stays affordable for families who prefer to style their own, and those who do use the Closet get a boutique experience that’s fully worth it.
In short: The Client Closet takes a lot of love and care to keep beautiful — which is why it’s now a small add-on for those who’d like that extra luxury.
There will be a non refundable $100 Booking Fee to secure your spot. Payment via bank transfer within 24 hours to secure your spot. The remainder will be due 1 November 2025.
Yes - it is $199 for the Linen album and 20 x prints to go in it
Yes, I have limited weekday minis available from 1 - 5 December . These are best suited to families who feel their children will settle more comfortably in a calmer environment. Please email or DM me directly to discuss
